As the CEO of Clinical Laboratory Services (CLS), Mr Minty has been actively involved in the health sector both locally and nationally for the past 13 years. His support to the health sector requires giving strategic advice, improving operational and financial systems, providing costing and budgeting training and capacity building. He contributed to the business case to the National Assembly to establish the public entity Office of Health Standards and Compliance. He has provided costing and budgeting training to HIV/AIDS managers from the National Department of Health (NDoH), Provincial Department of Health and Department of Public Services and Administration. Mr Minty has developed a legal and procedures framework for reintegration of public entities into departments as government components.
For the collaboration, Mr Suliman Minty will conduct routine TB and HIV laboratory investigation done as part of the consortiums research programme.
